Holiday Activities

The teens from Casa Hogar Sagrada Familia spent a school holiday at the Robertson´s. The agenda included making peanut butter cookies, eating hamburgers, gifts of musical instruments for the Casa, and making GIANT soap bubbles.
The kids are looking forward to the holidays.

José and Edgar are going to work, maybe 3 days a week, for an auto mechanic during the holidays. This will give them a taste of that career path. Next year, Edgar, due to the revision of his birth certificate (it now says he´s 16 yrs. old) will go to Saturday school and learn a trade during the week. The legal system says that when he turns 18 he must move out and be on his own. He won´t have finished secondary school at that time. We´re considering what all that will mean for us and for his future. Keep him in your prayers. Since he had such a bad work experience as an 8-9 yr. old, he is fearful although he is interested in mechanics. Ron has tried to assure him that this is only provided he WANTS to explore this field. Please pray for Edgar´s peace and excitment in this venture.
