Although it was a departure from the book, the VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER was a simple pleasure for us to see. We saw that yesterday. It will be a bit scary for Sadie yet, but it is refreshing to see Good triumph. I just hope they don't continue to exalt the powers of darkness to where the Evil is more prominent than the Good! Well, Sadie can start on the earlier Chronicles which I have recorded for her. Seeing Narnia makes the antiphon for today comes to mind: Our King and Savior now draws near: Come let us adore him.

Later today we will try to Skype the kids at Casa Hogar San Jose. That will be fun.

NUTCRACKER

Another event a week ago was a trip for Sadie and her daddy to see the Nutcracker. Another big sports buff and his daughter went along. Sadie came back saying she was ready to start ballet up again. Consequently, Ron taped two really good renditions of the Nutcracker to show Sadie. She will dance along I am sure! She has a wonderful gusto for life and learning of all types. Better study up, Padre Ron, you'll probably have to announce her performance to the imaginary audience. Now, let's see, there's the Pas de Deux, the dance of the Sugar Plum fairies, hmm...

Padre Marvin

We were extremely blessed to have a visit from Padre Marvin recently when he was in town. Although our times together have been short, I feel tremendous encouragement and hope from him. We chatted about the Casas, what hopes and concerns we have for the project and each of the kids, and prayed for God's blessings. It is Padre that has held the seminary together with his courses as there hasn't been a person permanently on site for a year now. God in his infinite wisdom knew that Marvin, Gloria, and Sandy would be a part of His plan for Arequipa long before we realized it! Thanks for being so faithful, Marvin. You friends, Ron and Vicki

FOURTH SUNDAY OF ADVENT

After our rather interesting week with doctor's visit's, transfusion, chemo, and Vicki's phase 1 oral surgery, we woke up Sat. feeling a bit more refreshed. Saturday evening we decorated the tree and it was fun! We ran across all the special ornaments-Donald Duck from Vicki's childhood, a small wooden nativity from my childhood, some ornaments that our kids had brought from Germany, etc. We played "old" Christmas carols on the tv and reminisced. A very special evening. As we did this, I prayed for our friends needing particular prayers, the persecuted church, our small bible study here at Bridgemoor, and those who live alone. A good time to take a breath, step back and recognize God's work in the world around us.

Amazingly, I usually feels better on Sundays. On this, the last Sunday of Advent we reflected on the Lessons and Carols on Sunday Morning and God's amazing orchestration of our salvation that we heard in those scriptures. Meanwhile, construction proceeds steadily on the dormitory for Casa Sagrada Familia. He is in contol of all.

The Collect for the Fourth Sunday of Advent seems particularly appropriate:

Fourth Sunday of Advent

Purify our conscience, Almighty God, by your daily visitation,
that your Son Jesus Christ, at his coming, may find in us a
mansion prepared for himself; who lives and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.

Nativity Scene

We have so many rich traditions in Anglicanism. While much of our tradition comes from the early church of the first 4 or 5 centuries, we have incorporated into our Christmas traditions the Nativity scene which was inspired by St Francis in 1223. You will find Anglican churches where a Nativity scene is placed quietly in the back of the church. Likewise, you will encounter Anglican churches where the figure of the Christ child is carried in procession at the Midnight Mass to its place before the altar and laid there in the crèche with great reverence.

Christ Church just received a gift of a beautiful olive wood Nativity cut from a stump of a tree that was already 200 year old when Francis set up his live Nativity scene! Here are some pictures Father David had in his mailing "The Call".

Today will be the second meeting of the Roof Dog team travelling to Arequipa in February. Vicki will attend it while Kimi and I go shopping. What a blessing to be here and to be able to do that this year! What a difference from last year! I understand the Magnificat that Mary proclaimed in a more personal way than ever before. I wouldn't presume to say "all generations will call me blessed," but certainly I can say all my friends will say that I have been blessed by the Lord with this special year. Thank you, Father!

An Open Heart

Ron was so blessed to hear Fr. David explain the importance of the Virgin Mary and our Anglican understanding of it on Sunday. Fr. David characterised Anglicanism as the "Goldie Locks" denomination of Christianity- neither elevating Mary's role beyond reason, nor fleeing from her presence in fear of heresy. The Anglican position is thus, "just right-not too hot nor too cold!" In Anglicanism we recognize Mary's complete submission of her heart unto her God, Yahweh, that enabled the Father to bring forth the birth of Jesus from a virgin. Such pure humility is indeed an example for us to follow without losing sight of the fact that it is her unique Son, Jesus, that brings us reconnection with our Father and thus our salvation and life eternal. Many people new to Anglicanism seem to find it difficult to find that "just right" balance of neither worshipping Mary instead of the Father, nor of ignoring her as though she didn't exist and wasn't anyone special! But, what you believe DOES matter!

I have seen attempts to include Mary as part of the Trinity and attempts to deny even her virginity at the time of Jesus's birth. Why can't we recognize her unique blend of humility and openness to the power of God? Which of the images included portrays your perception of Mary?

Peruvian Artist

On Sunday, Vicki and Sherry were able to sell some of Christian Revilla's all purpose cards. Starting a career in art is difficult enough anywhere, but even more so in Peru! We hope these sales will boost Christian's morale as he pursues his dream in Arequipa. He tithes to the church from his proceeds.

Bazaar!

Last week Vicki and I were able to help out a bit with THREADS OF HOPE and its booth at the Jesuit Bazaar. Threads of Hope helps fight poverty and improve the lives of women in the shanty towns of Lima. It was such a blessing to be able to contribute our bit of time for such a wonderful cause. And, WOW, the bazaar made $4700 for the ladies! Lives will be blessed with this aid. Thank you, Lord!

Fall Color

We looked at colors differently this year-especially on Thanksgiving Day. It was last year on Thanksgiving that medical tests indicated a maximum of 3 to 4 months of life for Ron. We had fantastic medical expertise helping us, but one wonders what those who have ONLY the power of medicine to rely on must feel in those situations.

Candles & Prayers

Sadie learned about praying and lighting candles at Nashotah. To say a prayer and connect it to a physical action was a new idea to Sadie. Grammi and Sadie knelt, said a prayer for her daddy and then lit a candle. She thought that was pretty cool. On Sunday she was eager to light ANOTHER candle and pray again for her daddy. As Anglicans we have a rich blend of catholic and evangelical tradition in our family. More to come...

St. Mary's Chapel and Michael the Bell

Two signatures of the House are Michael the one ton bell that was rung 3 times a day during Ron's time to remind students and faculty and visitors to stop where they were and pray (usually the Angelus.) Michael could be heard for miles around and was as much a part of the regular daily cycle of prayer as breathing or eating. In times of distress it summoned the neighbors to the emergency, too. James Avery designed the distinctive cross with the lillies based on the symbol of the chapel. Lillies have always been a symbol of the Virgin mother of our Lord and the House has always recongnized both her special role as "Theotokos" and our call to evangelize. I was blessed with a truly Catholic and truly Evangelical Seminary representing the full breadth of Anglican tradition.

Trip Down Memory Lane

We just made a 4 day trip to Wisconsin with our daughter Kimberley and granddaughter Sadie. Our destination was Nashotah House Thelogical Seminary where I did my seminary training and Kimi was born. The "Mission" as it is known is 150 yrs old and still a vital seat of clergy preparation. Kimi was actually born there during our middler year and we had never made it back to help her connect to that part of our family history. I'll put more on later postings.

Padre Marvin to Return! Hooray!

Fr. Hill has okayed Padre Marvin returning to teach in the seminary in Arequipa in 2011. He is the ONLY TEACHER at this time. (And, I might add, a great one!) He has picked up a couple of former Roman seminarians who are exploring Anglicanism. Victor and Richard took classes under him this year along with our other seminarians. He will teach courses in New Testament, the Synoptics, BCP and Eucharist, and Anglicanism. Remember that the majority of Anglicans in Peru are first generation so less than a handful have been raised in the Anglican Church. That means they bring a lot of background from other traditions into the Church. While much of that diversity is a blessing, it can make it difficult to spot the distinctively Anglican characteristics of the Church in Peru. Thus, Fr. Marvin's courses on Anglicanism are REALLY essential to our potential clergy staying on track! Please pray for Fr. Marvin and these courses. Thanks, too, to SAMS (Society of Anglican Missionaries and Senders) who facilitates Padre Marvins trips.

Eucharist

One of the advantages of having clergy in the family is being able to do a home eucharist when necessary. I had an accomplished acolyte, too. Sunday we celebrated here as we were going down to the Cathedral in the evening to hear Father Ian Montgomery's presentation on the Diocese of Peru and to support him and Polly. It was great to see so many friends there even though we only had a moment to visit. Keep the Diocese of Peru, Bishop Godfrey, and all his clergy and seminarians in your prayers.

Well, here we are already just a few days away from All Saints! We actually have some trees near us that have pretty yellows, burgundy, and reds in their leaves. Of course, this is TEXAS so we have thunderstorms, tornadoes, wind, 80 degree weather,hail, and an occasional dip in the pool! Where else but Texas? Even with all these variations, God provides us simple beauties right outside our door in little wildflowers to cheer us.

We have started a community small group here at our apartment complex. We come from various backgrounds and worship in different church settings but we ALL need the support of each other in our daily Christian walk! We meet once a week on Monday mornings. Pray that we make a wise choice as we select a new Bible study next week. We are finishing up a 12 week study of the Epistles of John.

It came off without a hitch. All of Susan's hard work organizing the event paid off-big time! Almost all of our family participated- I say "almost" because our dog Sierra just isn't dog friendly yet! Kimi, Brian,Sadie, Vicki, and Whistler all walked while I sat at the table to sign-up sponsors for the Casas kids. We had about 6 new sponsors and someone even asked about adoption! The rain didn't happen and the bagels were great! We got to see the three newly adopted kids for the first time in the US as they came down from Oklahoma. Praise God for all his blessings.

"TOPLESS BAR"

For Ron's birthday the family went to downtown Dallas to celebrate. We have had a running joke about the restaurant we have visited for years. Everyone's eyes pop out when we say we are going to a "topless bar." Actually, we say we are going to a TAPAS BAR. "Tapas" are what the Spanish call appetizers. Cafe Madrid was perfect. The weather was perfect and we loved the gazpacho, tortilla española, Manchego cheese, garlic shrimp, beef on a skewer, paella valenciana,bread and flan. Also, it is amazing what one can do with bright colored pipe cleaners, too!

Sept. 11 will be the 5th annual Roof Dog Run and Christ Church, Plano,is in full swing. Yesterday was the first date for those pre-registered to pick up their run packets. This event will enable Casas Hogar Sagrada Familia to build much needed dormitory space. One of our concerns has been to address the transition piece as our kids reach young adulthood. More dorm space will really help us facilitate their "leaving the nest". Who knows? Maybe we'll be fledging the next mayor of Arequipa some day! This love expressed to the kids by Christ Church members and done in the name of Jesus will carry untold blessing with it that will affect their lives forever.Your sons will be taught by the LORD,and great will be your children's peace. GOING ONE....GOING TWICE.....

On Saturday Redeemer Episcopal Church, Irving, held its fund raiser for the upcoming Arequipa trip in October. Seventeen missionaries are gearing up, and boy, are they excited! On a previous trip when the team worked with our San Lucas Anglican School, Mother Gail pitched a mean slider while teaching baseball to the kids! This time the team will be building two additional classrooms at the school. Padre and Vicki had a great time at the wine tasting/auction although it still seems strange to be in THIS hemisphere! A large group attended and the bidding was exciting. Vicki was able to network with a lot of close friends and Peru supporters. Father Steve took over the duties of hosting as Mother Gail was out of town. The spread was good and Padre Ron managed (by careful bidding strategy) to claim a waffle iron and help the cause! The Casas kids are already excited about the upcoming visit as is San Lucas. Thank you, Redeemer, for caring about our children!

Here, at the end of August 2010, Padre Ron and Vicki made a short trip to San Antonio to rejoice in the wedding of close friends from our ministry in McKinney when our kids were small. Several former parishoners were present and what a blast to share in this celebration of two committed joining their lives before God.

Although Padre Ron and Vicki are in a period of transition, they continue to promote the support of the Casas Hogares and continue to build bonds of affection between the Casas those who have promoted the Casas here in the US. Actually, Padre never expected to BE here at the end of August! Praise God for His Mercy and Love. During this last month, Ron and Vicki have begun a bible study at the senior apartment complex where they are living. They continue to ask, "What's next, Lord?" Please pray for guidance for them.

Well, spring has officially begun in Texas. Thought you'd like a couple of spring pics. Plano had 4 inches and we hear of a number of wrecks so we'll do church here at home today as the Roofdog homecoming event is later this afternoon and we'll go in to that. Please continue to pray as we see just how God will lead our ministry here in the Metroplex. Ron's health continues to improve and we have a meeting Wed. to see how prayer, chemo and radiology have worked together.

Wow! Where Has the Time Gone??!!!

There is a huge gap in my reporting on this blog as you can see! I guess that since the time Padre began feeling so bad, we haven't had the "umph" to keep up. So, in a nut shell here is an update.

After numerous tests to determine the cause of Padre Ron's stomach pain, it was decided by our wonderful Peruvian nurses and doctors that he should return to the US for further exams. So in November Ron and Vicki returned to the US thinking a gallbladder surgery might be needed. Thus no goodbyes were said and they expected to be back in Peru by Christmas. Fortunately Ron had excellent doctors in the US who were able to determine that he has pancreatic cancer. After a couple of weeks in the hospital (he did miss the Thanksgiving turkey!)he was released to continue treatments from home. The Lord provided a wonderful apartment close to granddaughter Sadie (also Kimi and Brian)and many angels from local churches settled them in quickly.

Praise God with us that with the prayers and medications Ron is PAIN FREE and nausea is under control. Vicki and Ron have settled into a routine of doctor visits, naps, and enjoying quiet time together. Please pray with us that God's will be done and that, if it be according to His Will, a healing miracle would occur. He has already worked many marvelous miracles that we must thank Him for.

Ministry still goes on, however, as Ron and Vicki work on cementing relationships between Arequipa, Peru, and the DFW Metroplex.

Patronal Festival at St. Lukes Mission

We had great fun participating in the St. Luke's celebrations. Each night there was a presentation, Vicki led music, there were prayers, and a snack. Padre Salvador organized a series of interesting topics. On the first night Padre Ron talked about the early growth of Christianity and the arrival of Anglicanism to South America and then to Arequipa. Vicki coordinated music to the nights' themes. It was good to support the mission with our presence. On the final night, Sat., Padre Alejandro did a slide show of the founding of San Lucas Mission and we had several of the founders present. Go, San Lucas!

Audit

On Sept. 28 we had our Diocesan audit involving Amigos del Peru accounts. I know now why I am NOT a financial person!! Toni Brown (the auditor) and Maria Andia (the Financial Administrator for Southern Peru)were patient and pleasant during the lenghty process. Fortunately, I just sat quietly and waited for 2 pair of puzzled eyes to look my direction and then I'd translate. Whew! They had to deal with the thousands of figures! Nevertheless, we did have some good laughs and enjoyed fellowship while Toni was here.

Regional Clergy Meeting

Today Padre Ron had the regional clergy gather for fellowship. We met at 10 a.m. for Morning Prayer, had coffee, gathered in the Seminary Library to share our challenges and victories in ministry, and then we headed off for a late lunch together. Padre Alejandro and Deacon Justo's challenges are different from those of Padre Ruben and Lay Minister Luis. Likewise Salvador's concerns and Padre Juan Carlos's are different perspectives of the San Lucas School. Sometimes the perspective of one outside the situation brings a fresh light to help the incumbent see something he or she has missed. Everyone enjoyed the day. Luis felt a bit out of place as he is not yet ordained. But if truth be known, he as led as many services as some others and is the only lay minister who has moved and serves in full-time ministry. We are still looking forward to his speedy ordination. Padre Juan Carlos took the photo for me.

Seminarians Lose Out

Right now we have 5 seminarians in the Liturgics II class. We had to double up and do two classes on our final meeting before the exam. Nevertheless, Padre left time for a little quiz at the end of class! Sorry, folks! You knew it might happen and it did! Still, everyone has enjoyed learning more about the Eucharist, the Holy Week services and how Abbess Egeria wrote back to her sisters about the celebrations in Jerusalem in 381 a.d. and how similar they are to ours today!

Project Hope Takes Off!

Wow! GOD IS GOOD!...all the time! ALL THE TIME...God is good! Well, we are about to do the "first stone" ceremony at Sagrada Familia on Oct. 3 at 3:30 p.m. This is the ground breaking ceremony for the dormitory unit so needed there. Who do we thank?
ALL our supporting churches and those wonderful individuals who have had a burden for our Casas Hogares kids. Christ Church, Plano, got the ball rolling when it seemed too overwhelming for us to attempt, and it has been awesome to see how many friends and churches have taken up the banner from as far away as England. We planned it in phases to be completed as funds are available: Phase 1-a much needed retaining wall and dorm unit for 12 girls. Phase 2-a similar upstairs unit for 12 boys. Phase 3-an expanded kitchen and dining room with computer room and library. Phase 4- a possible set of 4 bedrooms for "transitional" living before launch to fully independent living. Pray that this construction will be finished by Feb. 2010 so we can move over the next set of teenagers from Casa Hogar San Jose when the "Roof Dog" team comes down.

Yes, it is exciting to see the walls of Santiago going up! Bit by bit, progress is happening. Please keep this congregation in your prayers and thoughts! Also, Holy Nativity, Plano, has offered to raise funds for the bell. There is a bell tower in the plans. Holy Nativity does have one and use it to call the neighborhood to prayer. So, they could see the value of it and felt it would be something used for a long time. I wonder what this congregation will look like in 10yrs. Praise God for his marvelous works! Ring out you living bells and sound His praise forevermore.

Well, Christmas is just 4 months away. With this vacation time our kids have done some really great pictures at both the Casas to use on our Christmas cards this year. Now we'll have to figure out which ones to print for sale in the US. We want to be ahead of the pack this year! Maybe a scripture or bilingual greeting inside and big enough to hold a 4X6 photo inside. I hope we can put a small picture of the artist on the back of the card as well. With luck, you will be able to get these in Plano, TX by October.

Kevin Leaves

It has been great to have Kevin Johonson here for the last 10 weeks. Kevin, a seminary student in Chicago himself, offered English classes to our Sagrada Familia Casa kids and to our seminarians, as well. Seminarian Daniel, in particular, took advantage of brushing up on his English pronunciation. These classes were offered as a part of cross-cultural internship for which Kevin got seminary credit. We know it was tough for Gloria and Sandy to see him leave for the States. We did convince Kevin to try a dish of "cuy" (guinea pig) before he left. Thanks, Kevin for enriching lives of Peruvians here in Arequipa, and blessings in your studies!

Wayne and Lynnea came in as Joann left. They are discerning a call to serve more in Peru. Wayne was a missionary child on the Amazon River. Sherry, or "Nani" as she is known to the kids,brought down another neat project for the kids. This time she taught about setting the family table, setting the Lord's table, and the specialness of sharing the meal. The Sagrada Kids learned how to make pizza for the special family meal and, of course, there was an art project or two. Even the "non-pizza" kids decided that their OWN pizza was pretty yummy!

Our Fledgling Launched

It was a delight to see our seminarian launched into full-time ministry. Luis started seminary a couple of years before we moved here, but with pursuing his university degree, he didn't finish until this June. Luis will be full-time assisting Padre Ruben here in Juliaca. In about a week or so they will welcome the first team to be under their charge-Father Eric Menees and Deacon David. There church has been providing transportation monthly for the seminarians to go to Juliaca while we waited for a full-time clergyman.

Joann signed on to the adventure of accompanying the bishop in Juliaca at the installation of Father Ruben as the priest-in-charge and Luis as Lay Minister for the mission. Our "chauffeur" was Padre Juan Carlos. Fortunately, we had an uneventful drive up to Juliaca. Our high point was 14,830 ft. Not an elevation where one is inclined to jog around!

Time Off

Fr.Ron recently took a break from seminary classes after finishing up courses on Revelation, Catholic Epistles, and Hebrews. It was great opportunity to be with daughter and son-in-law Kimi and Brian on Fathers' Day and to babysit with grandaughter Sadie as they went out on their 13th anniversary. Then Ron and Kimi went out for a short visit with Ron's mom, Evelyn in AZ. The Lord truly blessed his trip.

PROJECT HOPE

We are really very excited to announce the launch of PROJECT HOPE. This will be the name for our expansion project for Casa Hogar Sagrada Familia and we are out of dormitory space!! We have a three stage plan to expand and better utilize our property. First, after building an urgently needed retaining wall to keep the existing structure in place, we will build the first floor of a new dorm building. Read about it here at PROJECT HOPE.

Padre Tony, a devotee of older volkswagens, had an opportunity to ride in a really spiffy one driven by Ricardo, the director of Faraday School where Margot attends pre-university classes. Stirring up a lot of Dust

Yes, indeed! In our "hurry-up-and-wait" culture St. Matthew's team has been great! While waiting for the workers, the water truck, the civil engineer, and the bulldozer to appear, the team filled in deep holes remaining from survey excavations, and hauled more rocks to mark the boundaries...again! Some of the rocks seem to have migrated to the neighbors' walls! Finally, by the time we left, at least the perimeter of the church building was marked out. Thanks be to God. Much discussion about each part! The "bandit" was Padre Salvador who was there with his wife, Denisse. Maybe tomorrow we will have a somewhat level piece of ground to work with. Call me the "optimist."

Growth

We now have 7 clergy down here in Southern Peru. Deacon Ruben is the newest member and has just started at Juliaca. We were informed at Synod that seminarian Luis,in his last courses now, would be moving up to Juliaca very soon and commuting back to his classes here. We look forward to his ordination. He is a gifted preacher and will be a great help to Ruben. Of course he will be missed by the kids at Casa Sagrada Familia and his friends here. We pray God's protection on him and God's blessings on his ministry.

Synod

Just back from the Diocesan Synod, we had the opportunity to network with friends in Lima that we so seldom see. This year there was a large contingent from Arequipa. The interaction between the delegates was good and we were informed of various diocesan organizations. Padre Ron and Vicki stayed at the Cathedral with the Parks. A wedding the night before provided the beautiful flowers in front of the altar for the Sunday service.

Mexican Dominos

Recently Fr. Ron and Vicki invited the other clergy families over for an evening of fellowship. We were sorry Deacon Ruben's scheduled arrival was changed and he couldn't make it. After visiting and dinner, we broke out the dominos and played a number of rounds filled with much laughter and friendly competion. A great time of fellowship outside the usual "business" environment that was enjoyed by all...even the losers!

Costruction Under Way

Yep! We are about to finish up the 2 additional bedrooms at Casa Hogar Sagrada Familia. This will allow us to move over the 6 kids we need to move this year from San Jose. They should finish the bedrooms by this Wed. and we will move kids over next Wed. I hope to put on line a couple of priliminary plans for the "big" dorm project that will meet our need for dormitory space in the future. We believe this is according to the Lord's will and would ask you to pray with us for His guidance in this large construction project.

AMA

Vicki was just in to Lima to visit with the leaders of AMA along with Deacon Maria Andia. Earlier this year Vicki led the music for Cristo Redentor's AMA event. It was an impressive service.

Sunshine

This week sunshine has returned to Arequipa. Most of our days have been beautiful until late afternoon when it still is clouding up. However, there is no rain. The calla lillies are starting to bloom. Mama June really loved them as we do. This has been a pretty typical week:
Monday Ron had a lengthy meeting with Padre Salvador and Vicki and Ron participated in their small group called "The Buffalos"(long story!) They will wait until July to divide into two or three groups.
Tuesday Ron met with the director of San José in the morning, did some counselling afterwards, taught class in the afternoon, and did some more counselling.Vicki met with our short-term intern, Joel, and practiced music.
Wednesday Vicki went to church for the intercessory prayer time and took an older parishoner out to lunch while Ron prepared for his other classes and had an impromptu counseling session. In the evening we went back to church for the Eucharist. Vicki is adjusting to the presence of a new trap set next to her flute. An interesting challenge.
We had a nice Lenten Bible study with Sandy and Gloria on Thursday. Gloria, too, is adjusting to the trap set!
Today, Friday, Ron updated a bit the blogs, wrote an article for the seminary, paid bills, and worked with Maria on Casas finances. Meantime, Vicki practiced music for her rehearsal tomorrow and continued correspondence while she oversaw the household needs and finances. We popped by the Casas to find everyone in a good mood and busy. The cement for the new construction has cured nicely.
Tomorrow on Saturday Ron will teach two seminary classes, meet with the clergy in the afternoon and work more on his sermon for Sunday. Vicki will keep up correspondence on upcoming teams, join the seminarians for Morning Prayer, and rehearse for the Sunday service.
Sunday will be church and probably will be followed by a nice lunch out.

After a BUSY week in beautiful Arequipa, the team was entitled to a relaxing dinner out before heading back to the USA.
