Also.......

Padre Ron and Vicki went directly from dropping off Toni and Maddie at the retreat center to pick up Padre Rob and his daughter Lilly at the airport. Padre Rob will teach an intensive course this week on the Synoptic Gospels and their message. It should be a fun week for the seminarians! Welcome, Friends!

Woof! or maybe Plie?

Strange title, huh? Well, we are please to have Toni Brown(roof dog)and her goddaughter, Maddie(ballarina), visiting us for a few days. They are stopping by before and after a mission trip with Medical Ministry International here in Arequipa. Toni, a deacon, helped Padre Ron at church and Maddie did some dances for the Casa San José kids. Great fun!

Just Passin' Through....

It was great to greet the St. Philip's Team at the airport today. They are on their way to Cabanaconde and will help give their San Felipe mission there a bit of boost and some PR in the village. Great to have you guys here! Napaykullayki atillcha!

Morning Out

Before Padre Ron had afternoon classes and Tía Vicki went to Casa San José, they tried out the new BUS TOUR here in town. It took about 3.5 hrs and was great! Maybe a bit long for teams, but still good for those with more time to see the sights.

Padre Marvin and Bonnie Visit Juliaca

Last weekend, Padre Marvin and Bonnie were able to visit Santa María Magdalena mission in Juliaca. Padre Marvin and Padre Juan Carlos conducted the service in Julaica with a good group attending the church. We have a number of youth that are now eager to get things going there. As the service is on Sunday evening, they were able to visit the famous floating reed islands of Lake Titicaca, too. Seminarian Luis who has been holding the fort down between clerical visits went with them. Puno is even higher than Juliaca and quite cool all the time. It looks to me as though all had a good time!

Silver Screen Star Miss Sadie

It was a blast to go on outings when we were home at Christmas with Miss Sadie. We all enjoyed the CowGirl Museum in Fort Worth. We should have taken the pink CowGirl Hat with us. Miss Sadie is quite a gal!! Go, Girl, Go!!!
